My name is Tara, the CEO and principal Interior Decorator of Enlightened Interiors and Home Design in Tampa FL.
My enthusiasm for interior decorating started right in my own home. When I discovered the positive impact that adding beauty to a space left on me and my family, I became transformed. I knew I needed to share this passion with others. I knew that I could change the way people felt about their most sacred of places- their homes- and in turn bring them more joy, comfort, functionality, and happiness.
The name ENLIGHTENED is inspired by my son’s name Luca. In Italian, Luca means bringer of light. An ENLIGHTENED person is said to be someone who is insightful and open-minded, someone who can see with clarity without preconceived ideas. When you invite us into your home, you are inviting us in to shed new light on something you hold very dear to your heart. You can trust that, together, we will create a space that is perfectly curated for just you.

Katie is a Cleveland native and mom of three with a passion for interior decorating. Katie is part of the Northeast Ohio Enlightened team, helping Ohio clients realize the home of their dreams. She believes when beauty meets function, a house truly is transformed to a home. She seeks to create fresh, inviting spaces that are unique to each individial using color, pattern play, and furnishings that reflect the clientele’s desired aesthetic.
